Firecurl in the Ghost Forest

– The Ghost Forest begins with shattered playthings

In a house filled with broken toys and forgotten dreams, nine-year-old Anne — called Firecurl for the wild red hair she cannot tame — stumbles into a game far older, and far more dangerous, than it first appears.

When a strange model landscape bewitches her and a storm of anger shatters it, Anne is pulled through the eye of a tiny whirlwind into a world where memory has shape and magic has teeth.
Here, the ghosts are real — and they remember.

Lost in the Ghost Forest with only a battered backpack for company, Anne must navigate a land of riddles, tyrants, and long-forgotten promises.
She strikes uneasy alliances with a talking clock, a hedgehog miller, and a fortune-telling owl; she wages battles against greedy beavers and blind ants drunk on their own illusions; she braves eagles' nests and crumbling mansions where whispers and traps await.

Piece by piece, Anne unravels the forest’s cruel secret: the ghosts she fears are the broken toys she once cast aside — and to heal them, she must first face herself.
In a final trial that pits her against her own worst instincts, Anne must choose between pride and mercy, anger and forgiveness — and in doing so, find the path home not only through the Ghost Forest, but through her own heart.

Firecurl in the Ghost Forest is a story of courage, change, and the fragile magic of second chances — a journey into the hidden landscapes we all carry inside.
